Volume 2, Issue 1 | January 2024
There will always be new challenges and unique opportunities in healthcare, but the goal of Mayo Clinic's Department of Business Development remains the same: Collaborate to deliver strategic, innovative and mission-driven solutions for the benefit of patients worldwide.

Collaboration is a necessary cornerstone for advancing patient care. In 2024, Business Development will evolve existing relationships and forge new ones to cure, connect and transform healthcare.

The dedication and collaborative spirit embodied by our team will continue to support Mayo Clinic’s unwavering commitment to patients.

This endeavor is not accomplished alone. Together we will make it happen.
MAYO CLINIC TECHNOLOGIES SNAPSHOT
Mayo Clinic Ventures, Business Development's commercialization arm, is continually seeking partners and strategic collaborators to bring innovative technologies to market.

Below is a small sampling of technologies available for licensing.
qHDMI

The Quantitative High-Definition Microvessel Imaging (qHDMI) technology enables the detection and diagnosis of malignancy in cancer screening without the need for imaging contrast agents, and has the potential to be less costly, and less invasive than existing diagnostic techniques.
ASA Scoring Tool

The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) scoring technology utilizes natural language processing algorithms and ICD-10 codes to review records, identify relevant conditions and provide a recommended ASA score to help anesthesiologists provide more effective and safer delivery of anesthesia during procedures.
MPN-SAF Questionnaire

Mayo Clinic has devised a questionnaire to aid in tracking symptoms of individuals with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) and is seeking to license out this thoroughly validated, reliable evaluation tool. The tool is useful in both clinical studies and active patient treatment.
