Announced last week, Andrew (Andy) Danielsen, chair of Mayo Clinic Ventures, will become Mayo Clinic's next chief business development officer. He succeeds James (Jim) Rogers III,
who has assumed the role of CEO, Mayo Clinic Digital Pathology.
In his new role, Andy will oversee Mayo Clinic's Department of Business Development, creating opportunities that align with the organization’s strategic plan to transform healthcare. He will partner with Peter Noseworthy, MD
, medical director for Business Development, and teams across Mayo Clinic to drive innovation, technology commercialization, strategic collaborations and venture investing initiatives.
